I think the forums are an excellent venue for discussion.

Would like to see a little more real discussion here, and a whole lot less of the porn spam that keeps registering and writing nonsensical posts.

I agree Tom.  I have been banning spammers and people posting the porn stuff every day.  I wish there was a little more engagement of dads and husbands around topics of interest, as well as a little more respect for everyone from those others that you mention.

Believe it or not, I have been looking for a forum like this that is created for us fathers. I am a forum addict, but haven't found like this one.

Anyway, I cannot find any negative about it right now. The background is simple, the set-up is fine, and I haven't think of additional category.

However, I noticed that some sub-forums are not being updated for some time. If you can provide a banner that can be placed on blogs, I think it will be a big help to promote it.

As for the spam and bad stuff, you're doing a pretty good job, but there's always going to be a percentage that gets through.  I'm not sure about the specifics of this system, but you may want to add a CAPTCHA of some kind before posting  a comment.

I think it is a great idea...
but it is always hard to get a forum started up..
give it time and there will be plenty of discussion going on!
